It is with great sadness that we said goodbye to Mrs Wood at her funeral on Thursday 11th August after her battle with a brain tumour. There was a beautiful service at St Michaels and All Angels church in Ford followed by the cremation for her family at Houndswood crematorium, and the wake at Ford School. The turn out was overwhelming with the church overflowing with people paying their respects.
Mrs Wood will be greatly missed as she made such a big impact on the school and everyone around her.
We would like to thank everyone who has supported us through the difficult time from her diagnosis late last year through to the upcoming new school term.
