    Welcome to Hugh Joicey C of E Aided First School


    Welcome to Hugh Joicey Church of England Aided First School, Ford.
     
    Our Vision

    We are a thriving, vibrant church school in the rural village of Ford near Berwick upon Tweed.
     
    We are a Good school, with a very positive Ofsted report, March 2019.  We pride ourselves on being happy and healthy learners with a positive and professional staff team.  
     
    Our school is spacious with large grounds for outdoor learning and our particular specialism is Forest school and outdoor learning in our adjoining forest.

    The fire pit in our forest school, we also have a den building area, mud kitchen and lots of space to play and learn together.

    May pole dancing is a tradition we share with the community when we crown the May Queen each year

    Our school has access to a beautiful forest area.
